How Cholesteric LCDs Work
This innovative display technology uses a liquid crystal structure where molecules align in a helical pattern, enabling bistable performance. It retains images without continuous power, drawing energy only when the content changes.
Full-colour output is achieved through layered red, green, and blue panels that reflect ambient light to create vivid visuals.
With excellent sunlight readability, fast refresh times, and a 10:1 contrast ratio, it’s an energy-efficient solution.
