Benefits of being global but truly local

At Anders, we value our global relationships by being the neighbour that everyone wished that they had. We are strategically located across the globe to support our ecosystem of customers, manufacturing partners, suppliers, and team members.

Our European sales office was established in 2004 headed up by Tony Allridge (read our Day in the Life of Tony blog). I joined Anders to develop the local market alongside Tony.

Setting ourselves up in Southern Europe was daunting as there was very little to zero market awareness, nor any perception of who Anders was, or what we stood for.

As we successfully grew the Italian market over the years, Anders made the strategic decision to continue expanding beyond Italy into Europe as a whole.

I personally love the French culture and I had the opportunity to use my language skills to develop business in France and beyond. I also love that the Anders team consists of people with a multicultural background, working together to give the best customer experience.

Our customers across Europe were looking for personalised support to identify together the right solution for their project as well as establishing long term partnerships. Our close collaboration enables us to fully understand their ideas and goals in order to translate them into customised technical specifications, technical support as well as commercial and supply chain services throughout the value chain.

We have always had a customer-centric approach. Identifying new business opportunities is not about selling our portfolio to customers, but it’s about listening to customer aspirations and starting on a journey of close collaboration that will enable the customer to bring their concepts to reality.’ We are excited to learn about our customers technology evolution roadmap, share our knowledge and experience, whilst identifying opportunities for collaboration that enable us to expand our services ahead of the tech curve.
