Secure Meters: Driving Community Development in India

During a recent trip to India, I had the privilege of accompanying Secure Meters to witness their remarkable commitment to their local community. As someone whose work allows them to travel to different countries,  I've encountered various cultures and companies, but this company's dedication to community development and social responsibility truly stands out.

A shared commitment

Recognising our shared commitment to making a positive impact to local communities, we were eager to contribute to Secure Meters' initiatives with Third Space, a community learning centre focused on nurturing children's natural curiosity and enhancing their learning experiences.

Working with Third Space 

Taking the opportunity to explore Third Space in Udaipur, an incredible community hub which offers enriching educational experiences for children – we wanted to get involved! A science lab, theatre, library and interactive outdoor play areas are just some of the amazing facilities on offer to children here.

When I first arrived in Italy, I taught English and with the help of teachers I met along the way, we were able to source a generous donation of English books for the Third Space library, aiming to amplify learning opportunities for the children of Udaipur.

How you can make a difference 

Our planet grapples with numerous challenges – climate change, poverty, educational inequity, to name a few. Solving these issues isn't solely the responsibility of governments, businesses, or the social sector, it's up to each one of us as individuals to step up and make a difference. Secure Meters' dedication to community development serves as an inspiring example of how companies can make a meaningful difference in the world.
