This Women in Engineering Day (June 23rd), we’re spotlighting one of the key women at Anders helping us push the needle forward: Sakshi Maddaan, our Product Manager.
Sakshi’s path into tech wasn’t a straight line. But it has been driven by one constant, curiosity.
With a background in Electronics and Communication Engineering, a Global MBA, and a post-graduation in Management & Leadership with over nine years of product management experience across five countries, she’s as comfortable breaking down microcontroller architectures as she is navigating global business strategy.
What projects are you leading right now?
I’m spearheading a computer-vision development platform that merges an embedded board, camera, and on-device AI. The aim is to let engineers prototype industrial and commercial vision solutions in days, not months.
DragonEYE™ has momentum. What’s next?
We’re broadening the range with multiple screen sizes and input options, designers will have more choice for a starting platform to develop their MVP using the impressive range of STM32 microcontrollers.
Zero-power digital posters - what can you share?
We’re working on some exciting plug-and-play solutions for use in retail, healthcare, and smart-city signage where sustainability is critical.
Where does AI fit into Anders’ roadmap?
Everywhere. From predictive maintenance on the factory floor to intelligent UX in consumer devices, we’re embedding AI across our portfolio so customers can build smarter products out of the box.
Over the past decades, women engineers have been redefining norms, breaking stereotypes, and driving innovation. Yet representation still lags - particularly in electronics. Studies show that companies with diverse leadership are 25 % more likely to outperform their peers, so the question remains: why the gap?
At Anders, we’re committed to closing it. Diverse teams spark better ideas, challenge bias, and serve a global customer base more effectively.
Today, we celebrate all women in engineering for showing up, speaking up, and making space for others to follow.
