The Supplier Development Quality Engineer plays a pivotal role in implementing quality assurance processes, enhancing manufacturing partners' performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards, problem-solving and driving continuous improvement to champion a culture of quality excellence.

Key responsibilities:
- Establish Robust Quality Assurance Processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manufacturing partners to implement effective quality requirements and processes, ensuring a consistent stream of high-quality products from conception to production.
- Enhance Manufacturing Partners’ Performance
Conduct thorough assessments to drive continuous improvement among manufacturers, enhancing product quality and reliability through optimized partnerships.
- Adherence to Quality Standards and Regulatory Requirements
Actively participate in developing and implementing quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, guaranteeing products and services consistently exceed customers’ expectations.
- Timely Identification and Resolution of Quality Issues
Drive Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action initiatives to address quality issues promptly, minimizing disruptions to the design cycle or production, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Enhance Manufacturing Partner Capabilities
Provide technical support to manufacturing partners, empowering them to improve their design and manufacturing processes, fostering long-term partnerships and continuous improvement of product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes without compromising quality, resulting in cost savings and increased productivity.
- Knowledge Transfer & Continuous Improvement
Drive initiatives to enhance quality and effectiveness across the organisation, sharing best practices and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
- Cultural Shift Towards Quality Excellence
Champion a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement, instilling a mindset of delivering exceptional quality in all aspects of work, driving overall organisational success and customer satisfaction.
About you:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in TFT and Touchscreen design and manufacturing processes
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with External Quality System Audit process
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and enhancing supplier performance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Passion for learning – actively seeks to develop and acquire new skills and knowledge
