  • Up to six ARM Cortex-A55 cores for powerful, efficient application processing.

Supporting MIPI-DSI and LVDS display interfaces the i.MX95 delivers vivid, high-definition visuals with up to 4K resolution, perfect for smart retail displays, industrial HMIs, and automotive dashboards.

On-Device Machine Learning

The i.MX95 is the first SoM to integrate the eIQ® Neutron NPU, a general-purpose matrix multiplication accelerator delivering up to 2 TOPS of AI/ML inference performance and designed to offload AI workloads from on chip CPU cores. This dedicated AI engine supports:

  • Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs), Temporal Convolutional Cetworks (TCNs), and transformers.
  • Real-time tasks such as predictive maintenance, object detection, and low-latency decision-making
  • Image processing features like HDR support, de-noising, and edge enhancement for machine vision applications

Built-In Security and Functional Safety

Security is integral to the i.MX95 architecture. The EdgeLock Secure Enclave provides memory encryption and autonomous security management - critical for sectors such as healthcare, retail, and industrial automation.

Compliance with ISO 26262 ASIL-B and IEC 61508 SIL-2 standards ensures reliability for safety-critical automotive and factory-automation applications.

The EdgeLock Secure Enclave independently manages security operations such as key generation, storage, and cryptographic functions, offloading these tasks from the main processor to enhance performance and reduce the risk of attack.

With support for up to four Full HD cameras via dual MIPI-CSI interfaces, the i.MX95 streamlines image system integration for machine vision, quality control, and surveillance.
