UCM-iMX8M-Plus is an ultra-miniature System on Module (SoM) that features high-performance graphics and imaging capabilities as well as impressive power efficiency.

With the new Neural Processing Unit (NPU), it’s the first in the series to feature a machine-learning accelerator. The NPU simplifies using neural networks for tasks such as multi-object surveillance, human-emotion detection, and pose recognition. Bringing AI to the edge, i.MX 8M Plus also integrates an Image Signal Processor (ISP) that can run image-correction algorithms on high-definition video in real-time.

Measuring just 28mm x 38mm this tiny module brings out the full capabilities of the i.MX8M Plus Quad core offering up-to 8GB RAM and 64GB eMMC, Gbe Ethernet, PCIe, 2 USB ports, 4 UARTs, and up-to 75 GPIOs. Display and camera connectivity is supported with HDMI, MIPI-DSI, and LVDS interfaces. In addition, UCM-iMX8M-Plus offers a wide temperature range and Linux kernel, Yocto Project file OS support.
