Our differences on display so you can design for customisation

Henry Ford organised his entire business around these principles, famously telling prospective car buyers, “You can have any colour, as long as it’s black.” But today’s customers aren’t buying it. One-size-fits-all doesn’t fit anymore.

The demand for personalised products is growing and appears to have moved from a marketing novelty to a driving force for electronic manufacturers. In fact, “off-the-shelf” is beginning to sound substandard, as the trend to personalise products to our preference, becomes the norm.

At Anders, we understand that no two customers are the same, which is why we specialise in custom embedded and LCD Display solutions and offer a unique product tailored to the end application. Our individual approach guarantees that our service is as unique as the customers themselves. We have experienced that our customer’s market competitiveness is actually enhanced by not adopting a generic approach, but by creating a product that helps to differentiate their brand, and the product itself, within the market it serves.

We believe that true differentiation comes from engineering innovation and understanding how our customer uses their product. We also feel that true value in application comes from standardising what we can, but continuing to extend our offering to include additional capabilities through customisation and vertical integration.

Stand out from the Crowd

Forward-thinking companies quite rightly want to put their own stamp on their products, and that is more than a logo on the start-up screen. A distinct look can help users tell the manufacturer at a glance. A unique, responsive, and easily accessible interface with an individual feel becomes exclusive to the developer.

Make it do what it says on the Tin

Customising your display means that you are not forced to over specify the display, or the electronics, which can result in higher demands being made on the processor, or too many unnecessary features on the display for the actual application requirement.

Futureproof your Product

By specifying the display from the start, designers can choose products that have guaranteed availability for much longer periods, ensuring component supply for the whole product lifecycle. This is not always an easy task, as there are a bewildering amount of different combinations to consider, and making a single wrong choice could lead to an expensive redesign that the customised solution would avoid.

So, good old Henry Ford’s philosophy of one-size-fits-all actually doesn’t fit with the world of today. We only design and develop products fit for function, which are as unique as your fingerprint.
