What a breath of fresh air to find an exhibition in the UK that really excites both exhibitors and visitors alike! The Electronics Design Show held last week was a real paradise for Electronic Design Engineers: from hardware to software, design to manufacturing and embedded to optoelectronics, the two day event provided Electronic Engineers with the latest innovative technologies available in today’s market.
As a great supporter of graduate engineers (we have run a very successful engineering intern programme for many years), it was particularly exciting to see the Engineers of Tomorrow out in mass - reinforcing the theme of the 2016 event as ‘Tomorrow’s Design Engineers’
The focus of this year was undoubtedly the Internet of Things: raising awareness of the challenges involved in developing smarter systems and smart buildings. In particular for embedded components it involves more connectivity in a small form factor and within a fast moving market.
Therefore it’s without surprise that our range of Embedded Displays, including the DX1a and DX4, received a high level of interest from visitors. Providing a fast prototyping, WiFi and Bluetooth ready embedded solution, our DX range are ideal for HMI design.
The show stoppers on the AndersDX stand were our range of small form factor and circular displays. Our round PMOLED and TFTs got a lot of interest along with our 1.1” TFT reinforcing the obvious need in the market for miniature displays and especially wearable technology applications.
Another area of particular interest was our range of TFTs with integrated Capacitive Touch Panels available in a range of sizes. We at AndersDX distinguish ourselves from the competition with extensive customisation options we can offer our customers and exhibited products with optical bonding, cut down sizes, custom coverlens and much more. If you would like to see these products for yourself, contact us today for a demo!
