A year to remember with new hope

2020 shall certainly be a year for all of us to remember. At Anders, we had the fortune of completing the acquisition of Selectronic and the support of all our customers and suppliers through the pandemic. The tragic loss of of friend and colleague, Paul Mullen cut through all of us. He is remembered with much fondness and we were all very touched by the messages of support from all who knew him.

Externally, the world has been ravaged by the pandemic. Throughout the pain and suffering as lives were upturned and lost, we were constantly encouraged and touched by the multiple acts of kindness and support around us.

In the early days of the pandemic, when masks and PPE were in short supply, we managed to secure some for our suppliers to help to keep their operations running. When it was our turn to go into lock-down, without our asking, these same suppliers shipped us masks to help our team to continue to work. Just a simple caring gesture that showed what we meant to each other.

There were numerous other examples that showed that ultimately humanity will triumph.

As if the pandemic wasn’t enough, we are now dealing with the impact of political upheavals from election disputes, erosion of human rights, climate change and the uncertainties of Brexit. As a team, we refuse to allow any of that to stop us from doing what is right and we will continue to work with all our partners to ensure that we can create a better world.

As we work to ensure that you, our customer will get the best possible service from us, we will be do that closely with our partners while considering the impact we have on our community and the environment. If we take care of each other and the world around us, we will all benefit.

At Anders, we will also be donating to the charities that support homelessness and mental health this coming holiday season. It is our small way of saying we care. In the meantime, take a look around you and give someone you love a big hug.

We are looking forward to 2021 with renewed hope and passion. It is going to be exciting.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
