Powerful Multimedia   Rich Connectivity   

With dual-head 1080p display output and high-performance, multi-stream video playback capabilities fully supported with the Linux GStreamer framework Utilite is a powerful platform for rich multimedia applications such as digital signage, IPTV and media players.


Two GbE ports, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 along with fully flexible software make Utilite an excellent choice for custom network appliance applications such as network security, Linux gateway/router and advanced networking servers.



Efficient Computing   Open Software Platform  

Low price, tiny form-factor and low power consumption make Utilite efficient in every way possible. Measuring just 5.3″ x 3.9″ x 0.8″ Utilite is highly suitable for space-constrained installations. Drastically reducing cost of ownership comparing to traditional PC systems, Utilite is an attractive solution for cost sensitive computing applications such as thin-client, server appliance and small-footprint desktop replacement.



Being a high-performance, open software platform designed into a commercial grade product, Utilite is particularly attractive to software developers. We support Utilite with comprehensive technical documentation and fully open SW architecture and cooperates closely with the open-source community.


CPU & GPU   Memory & Storage  

Based on Freescale i.MX6, Utilite is available with a single, dual or quad core ARM Cortex A9 including a high-performance GPU and a multi-stream HD video engine.  


Utilite features up to 4GBs of DDR3-1066 and offers both high performance SATA SSD and microSD for storage. It can incorporate an internal mSATA SSD module of up to 512GB and the front-panel microSD socket supports SDXC up to 128GB.



Video and Audio   Networking and I/O  

Utilite features HDMI 1.4 and a 2nd DVI-D port. Both display outputs support up to 1920 x 1200 resolutions and can be operated in dual head mode. 5.1 channels audio is available through HDMI and S/PDIF and in addition there are standard 3.5mm jacks for stereo line-out and line-in.  


Utilite offers two Gigabit Ethernet ports and a built-in 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth modules. It includes 4 x USB 2.0 ports, two located on the back and two located on the front. On the front panel there is micro-USB OTG and a mini connector for RS232.




Build and Power


Built into a sleek and compact case, Utilite measures in at only 135 x 100 x 21mm that consumes between 3-8W of power depending on devices in use, operating system and CPU/graphics load required by the task at hand. It uses a power supply of 12V DC (10V-16V tolerant).
