As a Stand alone UI Platform: DX1
The quickest and easiest way to add/interface a colour display, touch screen and slick GUI to your new or existing device.  Customers will select the appropriate screen size and touch option, quickly build and store next generation GUI screens using the free DX Software and then simply send commands over I2C or SPI from any simple microcontroller to control the display interface.

As both a UI Platform & to easily add/upgrade Embedded Functionality: DX2,3,5
In addition to seamlessly adding a next generation colour display interface, many customers select a DX Platform to provide additional functionality not currently supported by either their current devices’ system capabilities OR because in a new design, they would prefer to separate between proprietary application electronics and both the display interface and other embedded features. Such features  could include communications such Ethernet, Wifi or CANbus, multiple IO’s or standard peripherals such as keyboard,  mouse, ipcamera all of which are supported as standard by the OS environments supported by DX platforms.

As a total HW/SW Application Platform: DX 2,3,5
For companies whose core competence is a proprietary software application, an appopriate DX Platform is often selected, the software is ported onto the pre-integrated embedded OS, the GUI screens are applied using the complementary Graphics Suite Software and then the product is wrapped in either a standard or customised enclosure. Time to market can be in as little as 6-8 weeks!

As an extremely fast, effective and impressive Rapid Prototyping option:
DX Platforms are often selected as the quickest way to build proof of concept demos, early prototype’s and even for low volume pre-production. This approach is ideal for being able to put tangible next generation product ideas into the hands of key customers, senior management and marketing teams to help determine product roadmap strategy, without tying up internal resource.
