Computer on Module

Computer-on-Modules (COMs) are standard, tiny-sized full-featured computers consisting of a microprocessor, Ram, I/O and a host of other functionality. These modules are attached to a custom baseboard through miniature high-density connectors. They are available with ready-to-run packages for Linux, Win CE, Win XP and Windows 7.

Our OMAP modules offer you flexible, scalable, low power computing options with plenty of processing grunt, high end graphics capabilities and lots of communications and GPIO, which can be configured exactly as you need.

Single Board Computers

Single Board Computers are ready to go Industrial motherboards with processor, RAM, I/O and a variety of other features such as Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS. They come complete with all peripherals and connectors and can be ordered with a pre-loaded OS and even with your application already burnt on. Whilst SBC’s don’t enable you the same flexibility of design as a COM approach, unless its designed specifically for you, they do provide a fast and reliable approach which many OEM’s prefer, especially those with lower quantity requirements or those who don’t want to focus any resource on product design themselves.
